How to care
for your furniture
Well-made furniture will serve you for many years if you look after it. Here are the most important rules for using and caring for kitchen furniture.

Rules for use and care
- clean the furniture with mild products intended for kitchen furniture and wipe it dry afterwards
- use soft cloths or sponges instead of abrasive ones
- fresh stains are much easier to remove, so wipe them off straight away
- if something spills on a worktop joint, wipe it up as soon as possible – longer contact can make the worktop swell permanently, which is not covered by the warranty
- do not use solvents, scouring powders or pressurised steam – they can permanently damage the surface
- ventilate the room or switch on the cooker hood while cooking so that steam does not settle on the furniture
- open the dishwasher about 20 minutes after the cycle ends so the steam condenses inside the appliance
- do not leave the oven door ajar after baking – hot air can damage the neighbouring fronts and worktop
- do not put hot pots and pans directly on the worktop – use trivets
- use a stable chopping board for cutting, beating and chopping
- check the oven seal from time to time – if the edge of the door gets too hot to touch, call the service
- the coffee machine and kettle should not stand directly under wall cabinets – steam damages furniture
- regularly check the defrost function and water drain in the fridge
- porcelain and stoneware have an unglazed base that can scratch the worktop when slid across it
